Almost 90% of customers are reading online reviews before making purchase decisions, and most of those customers are reading between 2 and 10 reviews. Because 88% of customers trust online reviews as much as a personal recommendation, 72% will only make a purchase if they see positive reviews for a company or product. This dependence on reviews will likely continue to increase as online purchases become more popular.
